Hot Diggity Dog - Ava is 2!!!

Wow - It can't believe my sweet baby girl is 2 years old!!! She is an absolute bundle of joy and brings more excitement and happiness to our lives than we could have ever imagined!! 







She was SO excited about her party and LOVED being the center of attention!!

We used a Minnie Mouse theme (Ava's fav) and served all of Ava's favorite food - HOT DOGS!! ( I still think she loves them so much because I ate SO many of them while I was pregnant with her!!)

And, of course, a party isnt a party without cake and presents!!

It was a great day celebrating the sweetest, sassiest, most awesome little girl I know!!! Happy 2nd Birthday Ava Violet!! We love you!!!





Cupcakes At School - March 23, 2012

My baby girl will be 2 this Sunday!! I can't believe it!! The time has gone by ENTIRELY too fast!! My family believes in stretching birthdays out as long as you can and getting as many celebrations out of your big day as possible. We started Ava's weekend long celebration today by taking cupcakes to school for her and her little friends!! It was so sweet to watch her get so excited knowing that all the fuss was about her!!! She just kept saying, "My party" and "My Ninnie Cakes"!!! I absolutely can't wait for her family party on Sunday!! Happy Early Birthday Sweet Ava Violet!!!!

Epiphany Pageant

Conner took part in St. Timothy's Epiphany pageant this year!! All the boys his age were sheep and they were honestly the cutest sheep I have ever seen!!

December 2011 - School Christmas Parties

December 2011 - Ava's First Haircut

Bless her heart - My sweet little girl doesn't have much hair. For some reason, it only wants to grow in the back and not on top. The week before Christmas we finally decided it was time to get our "baby mullet" (as Ron calls it) trimmed. She did GREAT and thoroughly enjoyed her first trip to Goulds!!

December 2011 - The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year to me!! I absolutely love seeing Christmas through the eyes of my children. To kick off our Christmas weekend, Ron and I took the kids to the Enchanted Forest to see Santa on Friday.  Conner was prepared with his list and told Santa EVERYTHING he wanted. Ava, on the other hand, was a different story. She was absolutely terrified by him. After our visit with Santa, we came home and made homemade chex mix and other goodies and let the kids open presents from each other.  It was a wonderful day!!

We spent Christmas Eve with Meme and Pops.  We ate appetizers and exchanged presents and just enjoyed being together as a family.  Before bed, we put out reindeer food and cookies for Santa.

Christmas morning Conner woke us up at 4:45.  We tried so hard to get him to go back to sleep.  After a few minutes, Ron and I both realized we were fighting a losing battle and got up to see what Santa had brought. Ava amazingly slept through all of it!!!! We finally woke her up at 8:00 and she opened her Santa loot!!

After a big breakfast, we spent the day at Ron's grandmother's house. I think it is such a neat experience for the kids to get to know a great grandparent. Christmas night we spent with Grandma and Pepaw opening presents and eating more Christmas goodies!!

But Christmas wouldnt be complete without a visit from Aunt Baba and Uncle CM. They came down the weekend after Christmas and we celebrated again with them at Meme's house!!!
We truly had a Merry Christmas!!

Thanksgiving 2011

Our family had a great Thanksgiving!! We have so much to be thankful for - Our cup truly runneth over!! We had lunch with Meme and Pops and spent the day with them. Thanksgiving night Grandma and Pepaw came over and we ate AGAIN!! :) Here are a few pics of my little turkeys!!
